Bio

Growing up in Ogden Valley shaped every part of who I am. As a young boy, I spent my days exploring It’s rivers and mountains. Riding horses, kayaking, and skiing were the rewards for bailing hay, moving sprinkler pipe, digging fence posts, and shoveling snow. I had the privilege of attending the local schools — all places where the people and values of this community helped raise and shape me.

After serving a two-year LDS mission in London, England, I earned a Bachelor’s degree from Weber State University in Sales. Today, I work as a territory manager for a manufacturers’ rep agency. My job takes me to many resort towns in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming where I’ve had countless conversations with locals about what their communities got right — and what they wish they had done differently. This dialog has only strengthen my desire to help Ogden Valley protect what makes it special.

I was fortunate to marry a lifelong Valley resident, my wife Kelli, and together we’ve raised our four boys here. We’ve seen how a small-town upbringing shapes strong, grounded individuals. Our growing family now includes two wonderful daughters-in-law and our golden retriever, Izzy, who has us all wrapped around her paws.

I believe in ethics, transparency, and good governance. One of the most important tools a city has to shape its future is zoning — it determines how we grow, how we preserve its beauty open space and how we protect the character of our community. Thoughtful zoning and ordinances, combined with transparent leadership, smart infrastructure, local businesses, youth engagement, environmental preservation, and reliable public services, all play a vital role in building a community we’re proud to call home. It takes careful planning and every voice at the table to ensure we grow responsibly while protecting what makes this place special.
